My awesome client Deborah was looking for the perfect visuals for her established brand that was going to take her to the next level, help her feel more established, professional and consistent. Did we sure deliver!
Deborah is a brand message and copy specialist for small businesses within the hispanic communities, she wanted a subtly bold, rebellious look that wasn't too overwhelming and intimidating. We went for bold, warm colours, bold fonts with soft edges, a little bit of texture within the brand marks and some fun nods to what Deborah does by using punctuation marks within the design, giving that super fun edge to the boldness we created.
"Working with Jen didn't feel like “work”. The whole process was fun, and it just made me feel like I was creating my visual brand identity with a bestie. Also, her enormous amount of patience, it didn't matter how often I wanted to change something she always did everything with a smile and so much love.
I felt so insecure to show up before, I didn't know if I was using the right colours or fonts for the message and values I wanted to express through my brand. I'm not very good at design, so every time I tried to “design” something, I just wanted to through my laptop through the window... I felt frustrated and embarrassed about how I was showing up. I was confused and felt I was confusing everyone else, too.
Now, I'm not wasting so much time figuring out how to design something. Everything is clearer and faster. It has made my days a lot easier, and now I also feel I'm actually presenting my brand and myself exactly how I wanted and expected."
